Day 2. As we drove through Lancaster I could not help but realize that the fields are ripe for the harvest. As we get ready for the harvest we must be prepared not to judge anyone.

Kudos to Bill for leading us 2 nights in a row. I plan on attending every trip around our Jericho. Tonights subject was one that I wanted to make sure and attend. It is so easy to get caught up in the talk of harsh judgement. You wonder where people are for church, for church functions etc. It is not our place to pass judgement on others. We need to remember to edify one another by lifting them up. Please pray for the students as school will be starting in the next few weeks. They deal with so much harsh judgement on a daily basis. Here is a quote that I have read recently. "We feel the urge to tell the truth as we see it. But we should try to accomplish this without judgemental condemnations that hurt others. Again, when we remember that what we perceive in another is a reflection of ourselves, we become less judgemental. So when we freely express harsh judgement of another, we are in effect talking about those aspects of ourselves that trouble us the most."

I am not afraid to say that tonight's barrier, HARSH JUDGMENT, was one that spoke volumes for me. I needed to be here for this one as I struggle with spending too much time judging others when I should be spending that time praying and building these people up. I pray, Lord, that I may be a positive influence and make every effort to see the good in every situation.

One of the hardest things to me is keeping myself from judging others. It can come over you before you know it. It is difficult to take those thoughts "captive" before you are swept away by them. 'Practice makes perfect', so let's all get to practicing so we can be "builders up's" instead of "tearing downers".
